U.S. citizens will need a visa if they want to travel to Bahrain. Tourists, people traveling for business, and journalists all need valid visas. A passport is also required and must have 6 months validity.

Travelers can apply for a e-visa, which is an electronic visa, on the Bahrain e-visa website. You will need your passport, conformation of your airplane ticket, and must use the visa within 30 days of approval. You must be able to support yourself and any others traveling with you during your time in Bahrain.

You will need a valid passport and a photocopy of your passport. Travelers will also need to show a valid plane ticket and hotel booking for their trip. Officials will also require a correctly filled out Bahrain Visa Application form and a money order.
